BRIEF
DC Mall is a 5-storey urban chic boutique retail podium within Damansara City that provides daily conveniences with its array of retail outlets within 170,000 sq ft of retail space. It is located in the heart of Damansara Heights & is situated amidst other property developments like Hong Leong Tower, Guoco Tower, DC Residensi & the 5-star Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Hotel. FW was part of a team of consultants which included architecture, interior, landscape, M&E as well as C&S specialists, mandated to work on revamping the mall. |
CHALLENGE
No major challenges beyond the typical. |
SOLUTION
In keeping with the architecture & the overall interior design direction of the mall, our design aimed to complement & accentuate the laidback & chilled ambience / look & feel of the mall. Motif elements of nature & natural material laminates were juxtaposed onto minimalistic signage form. Unfortunately, this project was deferred right before tendering given a change in management's direction. |
